Carlee Adickes was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula. Upon high school graduation, she went on to obtain her undergraduate degree in biomedical science at Concordia University, Wisconsin, while working as an EMT for a 911 and private ambulance service in Milwaukee.

Carlee completed her physician assistant studies at her alma mater as a National Health Service Corp scholar. Her clinical year was structured around preparation for rural family medicine, and she traveled as far as Montana and Wyoming for exceptional training opportunities. She is passionate about evidence-based, patient-centered healthcare.

Carlee is excited to call the UP home once again, along with her husband and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys the company of family and friends, playing basketball, going for walks with the pups, relaxing by a bonfire, and watching movies.
