Quality of Care & Patient Satisfaction
As a premier provider of community-based, family-oriented healthcare, Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital believes it can best maintain this level of service through a customer-focused approach, where we continually strive to understand and exceed the expectations of our customers. This focus is enabled through effective communication systems, staff education, team building, quality improvement, work redesign, and an empowered workforce.
Patient services at Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital are provided through an organized and systematic process designed to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and timely care and treatment in an atmosphere that promotes respect and care.
Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital is committed to the ongoing improvement of the quality of care its patients receive, as evidenced by the outcome of that care. The organization continuously strives to exceed expectations during a patient’s stay.
Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital has partnered with Press Ganey for patient satisfaction. Press Ganey is a company that measures patient satisfaction with patient expectations. After being a patient at SMH, you may randomly be chosen to participate in a brief survey. Our goal is to continuously improve all aspects of our service to the community, including your satisfaction. If you receive a survey via text or mail from Press Ganey, please take a few minutes to answer the questions.
Our goal is to address any unmet need or expectation. We invite you to share your concerns with the staff caring for you or with the supervisor of the department. We take all patient/family concerns very seriously and make changes to processes where we can, so that we can better serve our patients.
Please notify our Director of Compliance & Quality/Civil Rights Coordinator if you have any concerns:
